So far in 2021, Alberta has invited 709 Express Entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination.
Express Entry candidates are one step closer to permanent residency status after Alberta held a new draw on March 2.
The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) invited a total of 200 Express Entry candidates to apply for the Alberta Express Entry stream. Candidates only needed a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of at least 301. Those who were invited can now apply for a provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residence.
All candidates invited to Alberta’s Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw had a profile in the Express Entry system.
Express Entry is Canada’s application management system for the three Federal High Skilled immigration pathways, which include the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal Skilled Trades Program, and the Canadian Experience Class.
